OSCP exam का format — क्या उम्मीद करें
OSCP exam पूरी तरह practical है — कोई multiple-choice नहीं। आपको लगभग 24 घंटे का proctored hands-on exam देना होता है जिसमें एक Active Directory set और कुछ standalone machines compromise करनी होती हैं। उसके बाद आपको एक अलग window मिलती है जिसमें professional penetration test report submit करनी होती है — और यह report भी उतनी ही ज़रूरी है जितना machines को root करना। बहुत से candidates machines तो कर लेते हैं पर report ठीक से न लिखने की वजह से अटक जाते हैं।

रोज़ाना तैयारी का roadmap
12 हफ़्तों में OSCP-ready होने के लिए consistency सबसे ज़रूरी है। जो schedule हमारे cohorts में सबसे अच्छा काम करता है:
- Weekdays (2–3 घंटे): 1 घंटा concept/video, 1–2 घंटे उसी topic पर lab machine
- Weekends (6–8 घंटे): पूरी machine end-to-end — enumeration से root तक, बिना writeup देखे
- हर machine के बाद: अपने notes में methodology लिखें — कौन सा enumeration step काम आया और क्यों
- हफ़्ते में एक बार: पुरानी machine दोबारा करें बिना notes देखे — यही असली retention test है
- आख़िरी 2 हफ़्ते: कम से कम 2 full 24-घंटे mock exams, असली exam जैसी conditions में
कुल मिलाकर लगभग 350–450 घंटे की deliberate practice ज़्यादातर candidates के लिए realistic है। IT background हो तो कम, बिल्कुल नए हों तो ज़्यादा लग सकता है।
7 आम गलतियाँ जो OSCP aspirants करते हैं
- Tools पर निर्भरता, methodology पर नहीं — automated scanner चला देना काफ़ी नहीं; exam में सोचने का तरीक़ा काम आता है
- Enumeration जल्दी छोड़ देना — 90% अटके हुए candidates का असली problem अधूरा enumeration होता है, exploit नहीं
- Note-taking ignore करना — बिना structured notes के report writing exam के दिन दोगुना समय खा जाती है
- Buffer overflow आख़िर तक टालना — यह सबसे predictable और scoreable हिस्सा है, इसे जल्दी pakka करें
- Report writing की practice न करना — report भी evaluation का हिस्सा है, आख़िरी दिन सीखने की चीज़ नहीं
- Machine का writeup पहले देख लेना — इससे झूठा confidence बनता है जो exam में टूट जाता है
- Exam-day fatigue का plan न बनाना — 24 घंटे लगातार बैठना असंभव है; sleep और break schedule पहले से तय करें
हिंदी medium — फ़ायदे और limitations (ईमानदारी से)
हमारी teaching का माध्यम हिंदी है, लेकिन आपको यह साफ़ पता होना चाहिए कि OffSec का official course material, lab interface, exam और final report — ये सब English में ही हैं। हिंदी cohort का मक़सद यह है कि concepts (networking, privilege escalation, detection logic) आप अपनी भाषा में तेज़ी से और गहराई से समझ सकें, doubts बिना झिझक पूछ सकें, और peer discussion comfortable रहे। लेकिन tool output पढ़ना, documentation follow करना और exam report English में लिखना आपको आना ही चाहिए। इसलिए हर cohort में हम technical English reading और report writing साथ-साथ build कराते हैं — हिंदी को crutch नहीं, on-ramp की तरह इस्तेमाल करते हैं।

प्रश्न 8: Exam report हिंदी में लिख सकते हैं क्या?
